Due diligence is non-negotiable.

The biggest challenge for diaspora investors is trust. Horror stories of fraudulent land sales, double allocations, and documentation issues are unfortunately common. The solution is working with established, transparent developers who have verifiable track records and clear legal documentation.

Due diligence is non-negotiable. Before committing funds, verify the developer's credentials, inspect the property documentation (C of O, survey plans, gazette), and if possible, engage an independent lawyer to review all transaction documents. At Garden View, we welcome this level of scrutiny and actively support our diaspora clients through the process.

Virtual property tours have become standard practice. Through video calls, drone footage, and detailed photo documentation, you can inspect properties without being physically present. We provide regular visual updates at every stage of development for our diaspora clients.

Payment security is another critical consideration. Always pay into verified company accounts, obtain official receipts, and ensure all agreements are properly documented. Avoid cash transactions or payments to individual accounts, regardless of who requests them.
